Child safety standards
tandu is a dating app for adults only, 18 and over. These standards of Tandu Me LTD apply to the app and to every service we run.
Zero tolerance
Any content or conduct of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly forbidden. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming of minors, sexual extortion, and any sexual contact with a person under 18. Our Terms of Use forbid it as well. An account that breaks this rule is banned for good.
How we keep the service adult-only
- Everyone gives a date of birth when they sign up. A person under 18 cannot use the app.
- Every profile photo is checked before anyone else sees it, including the age it shows. A photo that does not fit the stated age goes to a person on our team.
- There are no public profiles, no search and no messages from strangers. People can only talk after both have agreed to an introduction.
How to report
- In the app: every match chat has a Report button. A report ends the match at once and reaches our team.
- By email: safety@tandu.me — you do not need an account to write.
What we do with a report
A person on our team reviews every report. When we learn of child abuse content we remove it, ban the account, keep what an investigation needs, and report it to the authorities: the Israel Police National Child Online Protection Bureau (hotline 105), and NCMEC where it applies. We follow Israeli law and cooperate with law enforcement.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police: 100 in Israel.
